Declaration on accessibility

1. accessibility on our website

We, the operators of the suedharz-urlaub.de website, undertake to make our content accessible at level AA in accordance with the Barrier-Free Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG) in the version dated June 28, 2025 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. This declaration applies to the website suedharz-urlaub.de and was last updated on June 24, 2025.

Our accessibility measures are aimed at people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments to enable unrestricted use of our website. This accessibility statement is available in HTML and as an accessible PDF and complies with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.

Our website currently partially meets the requirements of WCAG 2.1 AA. The following areas are already barrier-free:

  • Semantic structure with headings (criterion 1.3.1).

The following content is not yet accessible and will be adapted by 30.08.2025:

  • Contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 (criterion 1.4.3).

  • Keyboard navigation on all pages (criterion 2.1.1).

  • Alternative texts for some images (criterion 1.1.1).

  • Video content without subtitles (criterion 1.2.2).

3. measures for improvement

We are continuously working to improve accessibility. Planned measures include

  • Adjustment of contrast ratios to at least 4.5:1 by 31.07.2025.

  • Implementation of keyboard navigation on all pages by 31.07.2025.

  • Implementation of subtitles for videos by 30.08.2025.

  • Review and adjustment of all images by 30.08.2025.

  • Quarterly audits with tools such as axe-core and user tests with representatives of various impairments.

All measures are implemented according to a set schedule, which is regularly reviewed and documented in our accessibility logbook.

If you encounter any barriers or require further information, please use our feedback formwhich is designed to be accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA and is fully keyboard accessible. Alternatively, you can contact us directly by email at barrierefreiheit@badlauterberg-urlaub.de.

We undertake to process your request within 14 days.

5. complaints procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response or do not receive any feedback within 14 days, you can contact the responsible ombudsman’s office for barrier-free information technology. According to the BFSG, you have this right.
